Clinton P. Weaver, Jr., 84 of Palatka, Florida passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015. He was affectionately known to his family as "Junior." He was born in Florahome on September 1, 1931 to the late Clinton and Ida Weaver. Clinton retired as a security guard from St. Johns River Community College after ten years of service. He loved to play the violin, guitar, and mandolin. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He served as a policeman for the Palatka Police Department for 8 years and was also in the National Guard and the Forestry Service. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers and one daughter, Barbara Freeman. Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Irmgard Weaver of Palatka, Fl.; son, John Weaver and wife,Gail of St. Augustine, Fl; daughters, Claudia Phillips and husband, Dennis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Private Memorial will be held at a later date.
