Dawn L. McCarty, 61 of Pomona Park passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home. She was born in Michigan to the late Bernard and Marilyn Verville. Dawn loved spending time with her furry friend, Miles. She liked going to the ocean, fishing, swimming, camping, spending time outdoors, spending time with her family and traveling. She never met a stranger. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Anthony Verville. She is survived by her son, Coletin McCarty of Goodrich, Mi.; daughter, Nicole Carter and her husband, Nicholas of Cabot, AR.; two brothers, Vincent Verville of Fl., Bud Verville and his wife, Claudia of Frostproof, FL.; sister, Marcia Saltz and husband, Dale of Somerset, MI.; three grandchildren, Skyler Henderson, Hayden and Harvey Carter. Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
