Susan A Melzer-Stamper, A loving aunt and sister passed away peacefully at Halifax Medical Center Sunday November 28th after a brief illness. Ms. Stamper was born in Fruitland and was a lifelong resident there. Ms. Stamper was preceded in death by her Father Paul R. Melzer and Mother Elizabeth Ida Melzer as well as brother James F Melzer and Carl Melzer. Mrs. Stamper is survived by husband, Thomas Stamper; her brothers Robert Melzer, Phillip Melzer (Mary) & Sister Elizabeth Betty Love. She is also survived by three nephews & two nieces. Graveside Services are under the direction of Watts Funeral Home and will be 12 pm Friday December 3, 2021 @ Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at graveside up until the time of the service.
