Armetha N. Lord Durrance Cain, 84 of Flagler Beach, Florida went home to dance with Jesus on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Armetha was born on August 11, 1926 in Bell, Florida to the late William Carlas and Essie Mae Lord. Mrs. Cain worked for many years in the Flagler County School Food Services. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Flagler Beach. After retirement, she enjoyed several trips with family and friends and her hobbies included collecting teddy bears and spending time with her family, friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Jerry Smith. Ralph “Babe” Richard Casaly, 86 of Crescent City, Florida passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Florida. Ralph was born on April 19, 1924 in Naugatuck, Ct to the late Michael and Margaret Casaly. Mr. Casaly was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II. Ralph also worked as a metal lather for 35 years. Joseph G. Vindich, 74, passed away on October 9, 2010. A Viet Nam Veteran, Major Vindich enlisted in the US Marine Corps on 14 October 1953 and attained the rank of Sergeant whereupon he was then Commissioned as an Infantry Officer. Serving a Combat Tour in Viet Nam, Major Vindich retired from the US Marine Corps on 31 October 1973. He is survived by his former wife, Helaine Vindich of Spring City, Tennessee, Daughter Judith Ann Dean of Stafford, Virginia, his two Sons, David A and Travis L Vindich both of Titusville, Florida, along with his Grandchildren Michelle McDonald, Thomas Newcome, JoAnna Newcome, Stephen Vindich, Meredith Vindich, and Great Grandchildren, Michael McDonald and Kylie McDonald. Marsha was born on Sunday, September 23, 1934 in Saratoga Springs, New York to the late George Francis and Ruth Lloyd Swartfigure (Barrett). She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Ann Hertel. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1956 with a B.A. degree in Chemistry. She worked at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Schenectady, New York until she married in 1963. Later in life, she enjoyed traveling and visited all 50 United States and all 7 continents. He was a perfectionist and taught many the arf of building and electrical. He was extremely proud of the dock house he built on Dunn’s creek, Palatka FL. Born in Jacksonville FL and retired in Palatka, FL. Survived by his wife Jeannine Lynn Weaver SMith and his children Lisa Brown (Michael), Jessie Sweat, Rhonda Seat, Terry Sweat. Grand daughters Amber (Shaun) Tompkins, Mekencie Cole and numerous others. Including great grandchildren. Jay will be missed dearly yet never forgotten. In heaven Lilian awats. Marcy Sagotz, 66 of Interlachen, Florida joined her loved ones in heaven on January 11, 2019. She was born in Illinois to the late Charles and Martha Sagotz. She was a cosmetologist for 43 years in the Interlachen area. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her aunt, Jan Johnson. She is survived by her brother, Dean Sagotz and his wife, Diane of Mederia Beach, Fl.; niece, Janet Elayne Sagotz of TN.; cousins, Dave and Terri Johnson of Bonita, Fl., Jerry and Vicki Johnson of Sandford, NC; great niece, Kelsie Rohler; two nephews, Devin and Kory all of VA.; a large group of friends that were fortunate enough to be considered family; and her kitty, Rascal. She had surgery on January 5, 2019 and passed away due to complications. Her loving spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts all those who knew her. Marcy requested no services, only cremation.
